Caroline's heart raced as she bounded off the trampoline and sprinted across the gym floor, her cheeks flushed with excitement. Ava stood at the edge of the springy surface, eyes wide with anticipation.
“You were amazing!” Caroline exclaimed, her voice bubbling over with joy. “You have to try this! I’m so glad I came!” Ava’s smile broadened, and Caroline felt a surge of gratitude for having her by her side.
Ava nodded, “I’ll give it a shot! But you have to promise to show me your backflip afterward!” Together, they climbed onto the trampoline. The supportive cheers of the other girls rang out once more as they began jumping side by side, their laughter filling the vibrant gym.
After a few minutes of bouncing together, Caroline felt a wave of camaraderie wash over her. But soon, the instructor called everyone over for a balance beam demonstration. Should Caroline stay and cheer for Ava as she jumps, or should she venture to the balance beam herself and challenge her skills?
