Caroline approached the instructor with a hopeful smile. “I was wondering if there’s a way to adjust my mentoring hours? I really want to help the kids, but I also don’t want to miss out on my own training with Ava,” she said, nervous yet determined.
The instructor considered her request, nodding with understanding. “That’s a great initiative, Caroline. Balancing both commitments can be challenging, but it’s important for your growth too. Let’s work out a schedule that allows you to mentor the kids twice a week and join the advanced sessions with Ava on the remaining days.”
Relief washed over Caroline at the thought of managing both. With newfound motivation, she envisioned how her mentorship could inspire her own gymnastics journey as well. As she said her goodbyes, Caroline felt a rush of excitement about the week ahead, eager to guide the children and improve her skills alongside Ava.
But as she stepped outside, Caroline's mind began to race with ideas. Should she design a special event to showcase the kids' progress, or perhaps prepare a routine for her own advanced practice? The possibilities seemed endless as she walked down the gym's path.
